I love to make music and to help others to access their untapped potential for performance. This is what makes for great music. Not si much the best gear in the world, but a moment and a feeling that is captured accurately.

About The Album – Just in Time
Mature, heartfelt, atmospheric rock with a dash of latin and jazz.
Herrin’s clean but strong vocals drive this evocative album, inspired by the likes of Peter Gabriel, James Taylor, Daniel Lanois, and Crowded House, with a strong emphasis on lyrics.
The music has touched my soul with its powerful and emotional vocals as he shares a part of his world, making the listener think a little differently about life. The folorn ‘Another Way’ left me in tears (maybe a little close to home), while ‘Dying of You’ and ‘Just in Time’ really crank it up with their messages of getting on with life. An album of hope and inspiration.

Rarely does an album come along that makes you feel so deeply. ‘Just in Time‘ is such an album and will continue to touch people with its emotional honesty and deep questions.

Clean heartfelt vocals, smooth rock/jazz production and some help from some very accomplished musicians. Just in Time is a tour of the inner landscape of love, hope, and at times, a cry for our collective sanity in how we treat our world.
An interview with Herrin
What inspired you to make this album?
I had been writing for many years and was still unsure that I had enough solid tracks for an album I would be happy with. Then one day I sat down and wrote ‘Just in Time’ and ‘Gods Cafe’ together. I had an instant feeling that these 2 songs would bring it all together. Soon after I also wrote ‘Dying of You’ and ‘Another Way’ so with the others that were a few years old I felt confident to start recording the album.
Why did you call it Just in Time?
Well I felt like this was my chance to capture the feelings of these songs and that the door wouldn’t be open forever. My life would change and the moment would pass and perhaps they would lose their potency. It turned out to be the theme of the album. That we don’t have forever and the moment has to be seized. Life is for taking risks and when we don’t we slowly perish.
People ask about the track ‘Dying of You’. Do you really hate that person in the relationship so much?
Its not about a relationship! Or not at least the type of one you’re thinking of. Its about the self sabotaging that goes on inside ourselves sometimes. There always (for me anyway) seems to be a part of us thats happy to see us fail and lose out on something. Im dying of you in that its taking away something very precious. Making me feel bad about myself so that I can wallow and feel justified in being lazy or not caring. Sad but this is how I dealt with it. Write a song!
Whats Next?
I have just released a short live album. 6 songs recorded live. Acoustic guitar and vocals only. A friend of mine was engineering and did such an awesome job of recording it that I am giving it away as a free download for anyone that buys my album. In addition, I have 10 songs that I’m really happy with that will make up the new CD. Not sure what its called but its going to be great.
