I have been getting back into composing with a specific purpose. In this case, an atmospheric piece to calm the senses.
Music is like jello that only sets when the final mix is done. Even then it still manages to move somehow. I love it.
I’ve always loved the deep feeling style of James Taylor and what a beautiful idea to combine on of the worlds most tasteful Cellists as well!

I am an admirer of Hubble and the mind blowing images that it takes of our universe. Free from the distortion of the Earths atmosphere it reaches into the far reaches of space with its eye and gives us a chance to experience just how fantastical this One Song (Universe) is.

For me, the initial inspiration to play music came from the sense of atmosphere that an musician could create. Pink Floyd, Vangelis, Simple Minds and Peter Gabriel are all artists that emphasize the story or the theme that holds it all together and makes for a potent experience.
