2 poems from deep space past

I found a lot of writing I had done a few years back and these are 2 that I liked. The song “eclipse” from the album Where to Land is composed by Zane and it works great with the words.

The Starseed Traveller

Many things
Cluttered in Here
Pieces to a puzzle
locked away in fear

Keep me from my history
bury me in mystery
feed me my face
wrap my feet around my ear
breathe in the universe
breathe out whats in here
Pass me the luminous snake
that poisons my heart with love
fills the blood my antidote
timed to some moment out there

Stars cycle the cosmic radio station and my frequency wavers
broadband connection with the divine stream
a stream flows through space
I ride my little raft along and gaze out to the horsehead nebula
Its colours a glorious cacophony of beauty
the heart flowers and bows to receive this blessing

The Pilots Dream

Wake me when we arrive I can’t stand to sleep through the clouds and the stream of ether fire that builds a trail to the seas mouth. A Giant oceanic embrace that i fly into with you. There is something real here, if only i could see it.

One more time i search the screen for signs of life.

Reading cosmic lies through the eye of the beholder
Makes me see the sky with new redemption.
Its speaking without reflection and still it comes clear

To let go of the controls that is the pilots dream and to land apon a beach far away from anywhere. The water clear and blue and the sky draws me into you. to say a prayer for the dying race that populated this island.

So where we end up is no consequence, just that we jumped fully into it , and knew we were alive.
Together we strive to reach the edge of what we consider true
But who is to say how far we can go and how much there is to know. I want to know it all, experience the best , run with the totem of my dream and hear its heaving chest.

My breathing full and the fire in the belly, butterflies in the stomach, herb tea on the stove. You make me breath fully, dance under the moonlight arms reaching to the sky. Teach me to fly says my voice, and the music echoes over the valley, to the sound of running feet. I am racing to my destiny with all that i can give. Maybe i make it to today, maybe i never stop.

One thing is for sure. I hear the hearts reply, when am still and forgiving, letting all things pass into the void of action.

This is the pilots dream to land apon the stream and let it carry me away.

Horse head Nebula
If anything humbles me it is considering the vastness of space and the small but significant part (for me) that I play within the symphony of the universe. One Song – Uni Verse.

Until next time, continue to explore the universe that is You.
